Denver, Colorado – Elected Officials from across the Front Range have requested that the
Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC) and Governor Hickenlooper
intervene to protect public health, safety, and welfare as their communities face unprecedented
large-scale oil and gas development in close proximity to residential communities, schools, and
water sources. The attached letter was hand delivered this morning to the COGCC and
Governor Hickenlooper.
